Steve Matthews

Betty and I had many memorable experiences as space pioneers in the 60s and 70s. After years of encouragement from friends, we finally began sharing our story when we were asked to make a presentation at our church about life on the missile tracking stations, and our involvement in launch operations.  While revisiting our stacks of memorabilia, my excitement reignited and inspired me to write this book.
